The Goth Family- Part 5

A year after his wife died, Sir Herb, the Marque of Winchester was looking for a wife, as he was getting older and had no son to carry on his name. Luckly, the Queen knew of a possiable match, she had been looking for good husband for her sister, she wanted to make sure that she would be taken care of.

So she set them up, with the permission of the king, she was very cautions of her sister and her honor, so she would only allow them to be together under her supervision.  Lady Nina has been her sister's ward since their parents had died, she moved in with sister and her brother in law. But Lady Nina longed for her own house, her own servants.

Mortimer wanted to make sure that it would be a good match from the start, because he wanted to make sure that his Queen was happy with match as well. Herb promised that he would treat her with all the respect and honors of a Marchioness.

An old friend of the Queen, came to congratulate her on marriage. Mrs. Jennifer Burb lived down the road from the Queen's late parent's estates. She was thrilled to see her old childhood friend, she couldn't wait to catch up with her.

"The last time I saw you, your name was Pleasant, now it is Burb, how things have changed." said the Queen
"And how? Your majesty, the last time I heard, you were to be engaged to Mr. Bachelor and moving to Spain. Now, you're the Queen of England" said Mrs. Burb
"Yes, I have been very fortunate to have the King's blessing." said the Queen

Sir Herb was infatuated with Miss Nina, he wanted to make sure that the King would approve of his pursue of the Queen's sister. So he requested an audience, to ask the King and Queen's blessing, which they gave happily.

\
The next week, he invited Miss Nina to his home and proposed to her, to which she accepted.

They were married the following month, it was a bitter sweet day, the Queen was happy for her sister, but was sad to know she wouldn't have her trusted companion by her side.

The Queen invited Mrs. Burb and her family to court and took a liking to Mrs. Burb's oldest daughter, Lucy. They would talk and talk for hours, about fashion, books and their families.

Here is Prince Ferdinand and his cousin, Don of York, Son of the Duke of York.
(I love watching kids play cops and robbers)
